AlphaWolf Basketball Club - Team Forming & Placement Policy

 AlphaWolf Basketball Club (“the Club”) always endeavours to:

• Place each team in the most suitable grade or division; and
• Place each registered player in the most suitable team.
   

The Club will make reasonable efforts to accommodate individual preferences, special needs, or requests (including requests to remain in an existing team). However, the Club cannot and does not guarantee that any such requests will be accommodated.

By registering with the Club”), you* acknowledge and agree that the Club has absolute discretion in deciding:

• How teams are formed;
• Which team competes in a particular grade or division; and
• Which player is assigned to a particular team.

All decisions made by the Club in relation to team formation and player placement are final.

Team Size & Fee Implications

The Club’s registration fees are calculated on the basis of 8 to 9 players per team (maximum).  Where a team elects, or is required, to compete with fewer than 8 players, the Club reserves the right to request that players in that team contribute proportionately to any shortfall in team costs.  The Club will communicate with affected families before any such contribution is required.

Inability to Place a Player

While the Club endeavours to place every registered player in a team, there may be circumstances where this is not possible.

If the Club is unable to assign a registered player to a team:

• The Club may, at its discretion, assist by referring the player to another basketball club; however
• The Club does not guarantee placement at another club.

 *"You" herein includes the the applicant submitting an application to register with AlphaWolf Basketball Club and/or the guardian submitting such an application on behalf of an applicant.
